Schedule for Saturday, May 8

All you can eat pancake breakfast Starting at 7:00 AM on
Saturday, May 9. Come to the Wakarusa Fire Department
(access from 31st Street. Sertoma BBQ Coupons can be
used for breakfast.

People's Choice BBQ Contest The People's Choice rounds
run from 11:00 -12:15 and then 12:30-2:00 -- while supplies
of meat last in each round. The suggested donation for each
round is $6 or one Sertoma BBQ Coupon. Food and drink is
also available at the food tent.

Official Contest Judging starts at 12:00 noon. This part of the
Cookoff is not open to the public. 48 Judges ... most KCBS
Certified Judges ... will determine the winners in each of four
meat categories. The grand champion will be the team with
the highest average score in all categories and will be invited
to participate in the American Royal BBQ Cookoff.

Awards Ceremony Prizes (ribbons and cash) will be awarded
to the cooking teams starting around 2:30. There will also be
drawings for the Sertoma Raffle at this time.
